Alps Revolution Suitable for Level 4 whitewater paddlers looking for a challenging and enjoyable kayaking - experiencing Alpine kayaking on Grade IV rivers in a safe environment with expert tuition. The Alps Revolution course will include Level 5 Kayak Skills Training and will cover the RSR 2 Training Course.
Alps Progression Suitable for solid Level 3 whitewater paddlers looking for a challenging and enjoyable kayaking experience on Alpine kayaking on Grade III and IV rivers in a safe environment with expert tuition.
These trips have a limited number of places so early booking is advisable
The Irish Canoe Union will also be running Level 5 Kayak Skills Courses and Assessments in the European Alps during the month June, please keep an eye on the training calendar for details.

Adult Evening Courses The Irish Canoe Union will be running a series of evening kayaking courses throughout the spring and summer months at its Training Centre which is located in the Strawberry Beds, Chapelizod.
The courses are of introductory level and operate under the guidance of qualified Irish Canoe Union Instructors. Assessment for the ICU Level 2 Kayak Skills Award is included at the end of each course. These courses consist of 5 evening sessions from 7:00 until 9:30 pm over 5 weeks. Further details are forwarded when a place is booked on a course.

The course fee is €175. All technical equipment is supplied
Adult Weekend Courses The Irish Canoe Union will be running a series of weekend kayaking courses throughout the spring and summer months at its Training Centre which is located in the Strawberry Beds, Chapelizod.
The courses are of introductory level and operate under the guidance of qualified Irish Canoe Union Instructors. Assessment for the ICU Level 2 Kayak Skills Award is included at the end of each course. These courses run from 10:00 until 4:00 pm over 2 days. Further details are forwarded when a place is booked on a course.
The course fee is €140. All technical equipment is supplied
Progression Courses These courses are suitable for those who have completed a Level 2 Kayak Skills Course and wish to progress their kayaking skills. They consist of five sessions over four days (Monday - Thursday). Course fee is €125. These courses are from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a river trip on Thursday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
