The following message has been received from An Garda Siochana:

"Dear Sir,

I wish to inform you that an open air concert will take place on the grounds of Slane Castle on Saturday 28th May 2011.
The Garda Water unit and other agencies will be carrying out a patrol on the river Boyne during the concert.
It would be appreciated if you could advise canoeists and other river enthusiasts under your control to avoid using the river on the above date from South of Slane Bridge surrounding the castle and the area in general.
