The latest Blueway Trail has been launched in Bantry this week offering a variety of looped trails around the picturesque harbour of Bantry.

The water trails are located between Bantry town and Whiddy Island.  The trails can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities as paddlers can choose from three trails 2km, 6km and 9km that are designed for varying levels of experiencefrom beginners, intermediate and advanced.

BantryThe project has been was developed over the last number of months by the Bantry Bay Port Company in partnership with Canoeing Ireland, Waterways Ireland, the Irish Sports Council National Trails Office, BIM and Fáilte Ireland.
