Alps Progression Course

Course Cost €1,050
Advanced Paddling Course incorporating Level 4 Skills Assessment and RSR 2. This course will be run on the Soca in Slovenia on Gr III and Gr IV white water. This course is suitable for individuals looking for a challenging and enjoyable kayaking experience on Alpine kayaking on Grade III and IV rivers in a safe environment with expert tuition. Course participants should be of an aspirant Level 4 Skills Standard.
Alps Essentials Course

Course Cost €1,050
Intermediate Paddling Course incorporating Level 4 Skills Training and RSR 2. This course will be run on the Soca in Slovenia on Gr II and Gr III white water. Course participants should be of a Level 3 Skills Standard and looking to push their personal skills into the Grade III environment. This course is for paddlers looking to spread their wings and experience Alpine Grade III white water in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere with expert tuition. Ideal for those who wish to progress their white water skills and/or those who have not been in the Alps before.
Additional Travel Information
As of mid March return flights were in the region of €140 to €185. The easiest way to get to the training course sites is to rent a car on arrival for the week between 3-4 people, this also gives you some independence during the week. Car rental for the week starts at €150 with Hertz car hire.
These trips have a limited number of places so early booking is advisable
Canoeing Ireland will also be running Level 5 Kayak Skills Courses and Assessments in the European Alps during the month May, please keep an eye on the training calendar for details.
