Operation Transformation will hit the TV screens again at the start of January and groups around the country will be looking to promote community fitness and wellbeing.
South Dublin County Sports Partnership has previously supported schools, clubs and community groups in this regard with free walk leader training, PR and health information material over the duration of the programme.

We are holding an information evening for schools, clubs and groups on Wednesday, 18th November at 8pm in Round Towers GAA Club, Convent Road, Clondalkin.

At the meeting representatives from the club will outline the very successful programme they put in place in January 2015 with the support of South Dublin County Council and South Dublin County Sports Partnership.  A walk leader will outline the free walk leader training we have provided to school parents under our Active School Parents programme.  We are expanding this to volunteers in clubs and groups in 2016.

This event is ideal starting point for your volunteer leaders to plan for Operation Transformation 2016.
I would be grateful if you could distribute this information to your respected contacts (parents, coaches, administrators) and if they could confirm if attending by Friday, 13th November. Please email traceykelly@sdublincoco.ie or text your name and organisation to 086 0441071.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
