Swim Ireland are delighted to announce the return of the #WePlay Inspiring Girls in Sport Conference on Wednesday July 3rd at the National Indoor Arena, Dublin. This conference is one that will benefit girls of ALL AGES involved in ANY SPORT! We believe every female involved in sport within Ireland, should hear from these inspiring speakers, whether you’re an athlete, coach or parent!

The theme of the conference is “Proud To Be Me” focusing on getting the most out of your sport and being confident in your body. The day involves a mix of panel discussions with sporting experts and elite athletes. Panel discussions such as “Balancing Life as an Athlete”, “In The Face of Adversity”, “Off The Pitch” & “The Un-Comfort Zone” will be discussed. While keynote speaker Sene Naoupu will explain why “The World Needs You To Do You” looking at self-belief and the courage it takes to express yourself through sport.

A broad range of sports will be represented on the day with athletes including our very Jenny Egan, along with sporting royalty; Sene Naoupu (Rugby), Mona McSharry (Swimming), Nicole Drought (Motor Racing), Caradh O’Donovan (Karate), Laura Twomey (Dublin Camogie & 20×20 Ambassador), Chloe Magee (Badminton), Nina Carberry (Horse Racing), Roisin Baker (Water Polo & Dublin Camogie) and Eve McCrystal (Cycling). These athletes are balancing training and competition at elite level all while working / studying and looking after their well-being! Attendees will receive a #WePlay T-shirt, lunch and have an opportunity to meet all of our sport stars for photos and autographs.
