A renowned figure in the paddle sports community, Adrian Harkin is a resilient individual on a journey shaped by the challenges of Motor Neuron Disease (MND), this Saturday 20th April the ‘Summit to Sea for MND‘ challenge aims to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neruone Disease Association 🚣 We are encouraging our members to show their support for this incredible event, with its unique combination of paddling and climbing to raise funds and awareness for a worthy cause. Looking forward to a great 2024 with our PaddleAble ambassadors 🩵 Moira Scott from Tullamore Canoe Club has been paddling for 10 years across a great range of disciplines 🚣‍♀️ Moira, a two time Special Olympics gold medallist, is currently working to get her roll in the kayak 🙌 Moiras energy and determination are a massive inspiration to the PaddleAble programme 🚣‍♀️

The upcoming Instructor Symposium, planned for the 13th-14th April, has unfortunately had to be postponed until autumn of this year 🛟 We want to ensure the best possible event for the development of paddle sports, and with the busy period of activity ahead and limited availability for attendees we want to ensure as many people as possible are able to engage in the workshops and networking.
