Resources
Medication Checkers
Athletes are responsible for ensuring that any medication they use complies with anti-doping rules. Some medicines may contain prohibited substances, and ingredients can vary between countries. Use the Sport Ireland medication checker for medicines purchased in Ireland and Global DRO for medications obtained abroad. If a prohibited substance is medically necessary, you may need to apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
Education
Understanding your anti-doping responsibilities is an important part of competing in sport. Regular education helps athletes, coaches, and support personnel stay informed about the rules, testing procedures, prohibited substances, and their rights and responsibilities. Access the education resources below to support clean sport and make informed decisions throughout your sporting journey.
Report Doping
Canoeing Ireland is committed to upholding the integrity of our sport. If you have witnessed doping, been offered banned substances, or suspect any form of doping activity, we encourage you to report it. Sport Ireland provides a confidential and anonymous reporting system to address such concerns. You can submit information through their online form or by emailing intelligence@sportireland.ie.
Every report is taken seriously and handled with strict confidentiality. Your vigilance helps ensure a level playing field for all athletes.
