    To mark International Womens Day Sport Ireland are To mark International Womens Day Sport Ireland are running a Women in Sport Leadership Webinar 🏃‍♀️🚣‍♀️ The event will feature key note speeches from Jack Chambers (Minister of State for Sport and the Gaeltacht) and from Dr Trisha Leahy, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Sports Institute and a massively qualified and experienced sports administrator.     COVID Response Award 🛡️ While all our members COVID Response Award 🛡️ While all our members have been doing their part in adhering to the hygiene guidelines and keeping everyone safe. The COVID award was give to a member who went above and beyond to help out the whole community 🤲 Shane Henderson did just that. Rolling out COVID training for all clubs to help everyone make a safe return to paddling 🚣‍♂️
    Canoeing Ireland Volunteer of the Year 2021 🙌🚣‍♂️ Patricia McCormack was the deserving winner of the Volunteer of the Year Award at Thursday's Canoeing Ireland Awards 🏆 While it was extremely difficult to choose from the fantastic list of nominees, Patricia's years of incredible service to both canoe polo, and l paddlesports as a whole, made her the very worthy recipient of this years award 😊💙
