Level 3 Instructor Course 8/9th October + 5/6th November

Brian Keogh and Shane McElligott are running a level 3 kayak instructor training course over two weekends in Wicklow.

Weekend one will be on the 8/9th October and weekend 2 will be on the 5/6th November. The course will be based in Glendalough Hostel and will cost €350.

East Coast Sea Kayak Race 2nd October 2016

East Coast Sea Kayaking Club (ECSKC) is running a sea kayak race from Bray Harbour on Sunday the 2nd October.

This will be sixth year in a row that we have run this race and it attracts interest from sea kayak and the surf ski communities.


It will provide kayakers with options for the week after the Liffey Descent.


Irish Freestyle Canadian Canoeing Workshops 22-23rd October 2016

Adventure Gently are hosting Irish Freestyle Canadian Canoeing Workshops 22-23rd October 2016, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim.  We have invited International renowned paddler Lennart Bal (NL) to deliver the workshops over the weekend. International Liffey Descent Camping Form 2016

The Liffey Descent Committee provides a limited amount of camping at the Garda Boat Club for the race on Friday and Saturday for Race Participants.
There will be limited security at the event. You need to book in for camping to be allocated a camping spot.
