Canoeing Ireland hosted its first online workshop of 2021 on the 11th January, and it was fitting that the focus was on Club Development, a key priority for Canoeing Ireland in 2021. The workshop was a great success, with over 40 participants representing 23 different clubs. The facilitator, David Denieffe, who has delivered similar workshops for the GAA and Athletics, encouraged attendees to share their thoughts and opinions on areas such as development planning, club supports for athletes/members and challenges that clubs face in these fields. We would like to extend a massive thank you to David for his time and expertise and for everyone who attended the event. We will be following up with more great workshops and webinars over 2021, so stay tuned!
