Canoeing Ireland is delighted to announce that our Bridge the Gap programme has been shortlisted at the 2026 Irish Sport Industry Awards, following the unveiling of finalists celebrating excellence across Irish sport by the Federation of Irish Sport.
Bridge the Gap has been recognised in the Best Initiative to Promote Women in Sport & Physical Activity category, highlighting its impact in supporting greater inclusion, visibility, and opportunity for women and girls in paddle sport.
The Irish Sport Industry Awards will take place on 19th May, bringing together organisations and leaders from across the sector to celebrate outstanding achievement in Irish sport, hosted by the Federation of Irish Sport.
