Canoeing Ireland CEO Moira Aston has been named in the 50 Women of Influence in Irish Sport for 2021. Since joining Canoeing Ireland in December of 2018 Moira has been an integral part in the growth and development of the organisation. Moira’s incredibly positive impact on Canoeing Ireland, and the sport, have made her a very worthy inclusion on the list.
Since coming on board she has overseen the completion of one strategic plan, and launched another. As well as helping to put Canoeing Ireland on the map for governance, with the winning of the Carmichael Good Governance Award in 2020.
We want to extend a massive congratulations to Moira and are looking forward to more of the same in years to come.
