Canoeing Ireland would like to extent our sincere thanks to Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin, and Minister of State for the Gaeltacht and Sport, Jack Chambers for the Sports Capital and Equipment Allocation announced today. These allocations are aimed to help sports at all levels provide the best equipment and facilities to allow for an enjoyable and inclusive return to activity.
The grant allocated to Canoeing Ireland will be used to aid in getting people back out on the water, providing the necessary equipment and facilities to develop our sport, and continue to make it as inclusive as possible. We are looking forward to the opportunities this will allow us to provide for participation in our sport.
We would like to again thank Catherine Martin T.D, and Jack Chambers T.D for the grant allocation. With another thanks going to all involved in the application process.
