Much work has been done to revamp these valuable awards, and in order to support the entire Canoeing Ireland Sea Kayak Instructor network we are delighted to host a series of 3 “Focused Professional Development” workshops around the country. The specific aim of these FREE workshops is to support Sea Kayaking Instructors in how the updated awards work, benchmark Instructional standards and to answer any queries one may have. They will be delivered by experienced Canoeing Ireland Instructor Developers, Jon Hynes and Shane McElligott.

Who can apply to attend?
All attendee’s must be fully registered Canoeing Ireland members with valid Garda Vetting, Safeguarding 1, Appropriate first award and any of the following Instructor status:
A fully qualified Level 2 Kayak Instructor who holds Level 3 Sea Skills.

What is the schedule?
You can expect a full day of activity from 9am-5pm on the 1st day and 9am-2pm on the 2nd day. We will circulate a full timetable to those who sign up.
