The Freestyle Kayaking National Team for 2023 has now been announced. The 18 strong team is a great mix of proven performers and paddlers making the team for the first time. These paddlers will have a long season leading to the 2023 World Championships, which take place in Columbus, Georgia (USA) from October 9-14th. This competition will offer a new challenge compared to last years World Champs, taking place on a river wave instead of the hole (stopper) feature used for the Nottingham championships.
James O’Connor will also be taking over as Team manager for the 2023 season, taking the reins from Paul Purcell, a great asset to the team in 2022.
