Canoeing Ireland is excited to announce a hugely positive step for canoe slalom in Ireland with Craig Morris joining the team as a Coach Mentor. Craig has over 30 years experience in canoe slalom coaching, having coached in the British system at all levels, all the way up to coaching athletes to medal winning performances at the last two Olympic Games.
Craig’s wealth of knowledge in coaching will be vital in elevating the standard of coaching in Ireland, helping to enhance the training environments for our young paddlers, and create more opportunities for paddlers to get involved in canoe slalom in Ireland.
This appointment underscores Canoeing Ireland’s commitment to building a world-class coaching framework.
