It is with regret that we must announce the postponement of CranaFest until later in 2025. While every effort has been made to host the event this spring, Canoeing Ireland remains committed to delivering a safe, high-quality experience for participants and spectators — and this includes securing the vital water releases required to run CranaFest to the standard which made it such a beloved event.

Over the past number of months, we have worked closely with Uisce Éireann to find a sustainable and collaborative solution for a dam release for CranaFest. These discussions have been constructive and positive. Together, we are exploring opportunities to schedule CranaFest for later in 2025. Further updates will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

All ticket holders will receive full refunds for their bookings. To process your refund please get in touch with the team.

We are sincerely grateful to the paddle sports community for their patience, enthusiasm, and unwavering support in helping bring CranaFest back. A special thank you goes to the Harkin family for their continued trust as we honour the legacy of the event’s founder, Adrian Harkin, whose remarkable contribution to Irish paddle sports continues to inspire us all.
