Building on a very successful 2025 season — highlighted by multiple A-final appearances and medal performances — we’re delighted to release the 2026 calendar for Sprint Futures, our canoe sprint development programme for younger paddlers.
Sprint Futures is designed to give emerging athletes meaningful opportunities to develop within the sport. The programme provides access to assessment events, domestic racing and selected international competitions, all delivered in a supportive, athlete-centred environment. A strong emphasis remains on long-term progression, while recognising and supporting the individual needs of each young paddler as they develop their skills and experience.

- 28th March – Time trial 1000m-500m-200m (all K1). Salmon Leap CC
- 11th-12th April – Regatta. Nottingham, UK.
- 25th April – National Championships. Lough Rynn, Leitrim
