As part of Sport Ireland Women in Sport Week, Canoeing Ireland is proud to spotlight the women leading the way in paddle sport. Our CEO, Moira Aston, will join an international panel at the ICF Women’s Symposium Webinar, sharing her insights on women’s leadership, inclusion, and creating pathways for future leaders in sport.
Joining Moira is another member of the paddling community, Melissa Fisher, who has played a key role in the Canoeing Ireland Bridge the Gap programme, and in championing women in leadership. Together, they will discuss strategies for building more inclusive sporting environments, the importance of safeguarding, and how organisations can support women to thrive at all levels.
The webinar is free and open to anyone interested in women’s leadership in sport. It’s a great opportunity to learn, be inspired, and take part in a global conversation about gender equity in sport.
