The Open Spectrum 2026 Paddlesport camp took place from the 10th-14th August and was again a huge success. The camp was delivered in partnership with Open Spectrum, a local support group in Southside Dublin that organises activities and events for children and young people on the autism spectrum. This years camp welcomed 16 paddlers out on the water with a fantastic team of 12 instructors attending throughout the week. For some paddlers, it was their third year joining us; for others, it was their very first experience.
Each day, paddlers took to the water with their instructors, enjoying paddling while learning new skills, meeting new people, challenging themselves and building confidence. Our instructors adapted their approach to each individual, ensuring that every paddler, regardless of ability or experience, had a positive, enjoyable and memorable time on the water.
A huge thank you to Open Spectrum for partnering with us to deliver this fantastic programme, and to our amazing instructor team for creating such a memorable week.
