Canoeing Ireland is announcing the certification of our brand new, and very first, Canoe Polo Award – the ‘Canoe Polo Foundation Coach’.
The Foundation course will provide Club Coaches with the capability to introduce new participants to Canoe Polo in the safest and most enjoyable way. Most importantly, this course will give help coaches create sustainable environments to help people progress in Canoe Polo. This award is for volunteers taking their first step into coaching and is the first step in a pathway towards more advanced Coaching awards.
This syllabus has been devised by Michelle Power of the Polo Committee, who is also a qualified Level 2 Coach. Michelle will also deliver the first courses of the new Canoe Polo Award.
