The 2021 Irish Canoe Slalom Team has been confirmed ahead of the ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships in Slovenia. For many of our young athletes this will be their first taste of competition for 2021, with Róisín Hannon and Cleo Pitcher Farrell also lining up for their first ever international competition on an Irish Team, contrasting with Madison and Michaela Corcoran who are coming off the back of a busy season or racing on the Senior Team.
The racing kicks off for Ireland on the Wednesday 7th July with Madison and Cleo racing in the U23 Womens, with James Gibbons racing later in the afternoon in the U23 C1 Mens. Tom Morley in the Junior K1 Men, Roisin Hannon in the Junior K1 Women and Michaela Corcoran in U23 C1 Women will race on Thursday 8th.
