The return of the Junior Liffey Descent offered a fantastic day on the water for all of our younger paddlers taking on the thrills and spills that the river Liffey had to offer. Welcoming our junior and U23 paddlers back to the start line was a fantastic experience for us, proving fresh challenges to encourage these up and coming paddlers in their journey through paddlesports. As with all events it would not have been possible with the team of dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to provide the best possible event for the paddlers returning to the start line of the Junior Liffey. We want to extend a massive thank to all who helped out on the day, from the timing crew, to rescue, to all the parents who shuttled our young paddlers out to the race.

A very special mention also goes out to the Special Olympics paddlers who joined us for their first ever trip along the course of the Junior Liffey. We saw a lot of smiles and a very memorable experience for all.
