We were delighted to speak to with Liam Jegou after he made history, winning Ireland’s first ever World Cup Gold Medal in the C1 Men Category. Liam was in great spirits, on a high still from his fantastic performance, and had a very fun chat with us about the race, finish line emotions, and trying out new tactics in his racing. We also spoke about how he trained during the lockdowns in France, as well as what his lead in to the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo would look like.
