Notice to clubs: The 2020 Sports Capital Programme will be open for applications from 11th December until 5pm on Friday 12th February 2021.
Back in late 2019, Canoeing Ireland ran a Sports Capital Masterclass with 2into3, specialists in fundraising and capital grants. The event was well attended and was envisaged to give our clubs guidance for the upcoming round, especially on equipment applications. Since 2014, 2into3 have helped various clubs secure over €1.3m in Sports Capital funding. In recent years, some of our clubs have been successful with the programme. We now look to ensure that as many of our clubs apply as possible. This event will guide you through making your application, whether it is for equipment or larger capital developments.
With the new round announced, Canoeing Ireland will now run a follow up session to last year’s event. This year, there have been some changes to the programme, particularly around equipment applications. The webinar will focus on the type opportunities available through the programme but will also show you some crucial “dos and don’ts.” Maximizing your application’s score is now crucial as demand is high and some applications may not receive funding.
