We want to say a massive congratulations and bid a fond farewell to the Canoeing Ireland Training Centre Manager and long time campaigner for paddlesports, Conor Ryan. Conor has spent a lifetime developing paddlesports, being involved at every level of our sport over the last 35 years. From getting countless people out on the water for their first time, all the way to developing paddlesports across the country, Conor has been a part of it all. So many of our current athletes, instructors, and all sorts of paddlers were first sat in a boat by Conor Ryan. While Conor will be missed we can’t wait to see him out on the water, and continue the fantastic legacy he’s left in the sport.
