WADA publishes its Prohibited List annually and the 2024 list has now been published. This List shall come into effect on 1 January 2024.

Last year, we advised that there would be a change concerning Tramadol for 2024. As of 1st Jan 2024, Tramadol is prohibited In-Competition as approved by the WADA Executive Committee on 23rd September 2022. Tramadol has been on the WADA Monitoring Program for some years. WADA has advised that the recommended washout period will be communicated before 1 January 2024.
