Sport Ireland and the Department for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media today announced an allocation of €48,000 Club Resilience Funding to Canoeing Ireland. This funding will be allocated to the clubs who submitted resilience fund applications earlier this year following a request from Canoeing Ireland to avail of the fund.
We are grateful to Sport Ireland and the Department of Sport for their ongoing support and advocacy of sport during a very difficult year. We remain committed to ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of our club network and recognise the excellent work carried out by our volunteer membership in the development of our sport.
Over the coming weeks we will begin the process of allocating funding to the successful clubs.
