    A day of action for day 2 of the ICF Women's Sympo A day of action for day 2 of the ICF Women's Symposium 💙 The focus was on everyone making on personal pledge for action to allow us to all to change together and bring about a supportive environment globally for women in Paddlesports. Working together equally we can create the future we want to see. The 2 days of engaging with the international community have inspired incredible hope about the progress being made for equity in our sport at all levels 🙌
    Day one of the ICF Women’s Symposium was a perfe Day one of the ICF Women’s Symposium was a perfect mix of inspiration, action and asking what else we can do for women in sport 🙌 And we can't wait for Day 2 💙
    Inspiring speakers and some clear actions for the Inspiring speakers and some clear actions for the future so far at the ICF Women's Symposium 💙 We've heard about change being enacted at all levels of paddlesports, from grass roots in the community, to the Olympic Games and the highest level of our sport 🚣‍♀️ The key message so far has been to promote change first in the community and use this to promote change together! Plenty more to come over the next day and a half 🙌

Tomorrow we start a global conversation and take some great steps towards creating a better future for women in paddlesports 🚣‍♀️ The ICF Women's Symposium will gather 35 countries from around the world for an inspirational 2 days of action aimed at creating a better pathway for women to reach leadership roles in our sport 💙 We have a fantastic 2 days planned and cant wait to get started!
    The Canoe Slalom World Championships came to a clo The Canoe Slalom World Championships came to a close today for Team Ireland with a 20th place finish for Alistair McCreery in the Kayak Cross 🚣 After qualifying through the time trial event Alistair reached a final placing of 20th in the heats 🏁 A solid performance to finish off what has been an incredible championships for Ireland!
    QUALIFIED FOR THE PARIS OLMYPIC GAMES!! ☘🚣 No QUALIFIED FOR THE PARIS OLMYPIC GAMES!! ☘🚣 Noel Hendrick has finished in 16th place at the World Championships in the K1M. Securing Ireland an Olympic quota spot for the 2024 Olympic Games 🏁
In the K1 Women Ireland are also now in with a great chance of securing qualification for the Paris Games. Madison Corcoran is provisionally in line to be awarded a quota space from the 2023 European Games. Which will be decided on a countback of qualified nations from these World Championships.

    Robert Hendrick has qualified Ireland for the 2024 Robert Hendrick has qualified Ireland for the 2024 Olympic Games in the C1M!!!!!! ☘🚣 A fantastic run to finish in 16th place at the World Championships has Ireland provisionally qualified for next years Games 🏁 An outstanding performance for Robert. A massive congratulations to Robert and the whole team. The athlete filling the quota place will be decided by internal selection 💚
    4 more days until the 2023 ICF Women's Symposium b 4 more days until the 2023 ICF Women's Symposium begins! We're so excited to be a part of this event. Together with ambassadors from across the world, we'll be using this symposium to begin a global conversation on positive change for women in sport! 💜 This will be an informative and inspiring event which will include a range of speakers, stories, panel discussions and workshops.Check out what's happening here, and keep an eye on our stories over the next few days to see who will be speaking at the event!
    A tough one all around for the Kayak heats at Lee A tough one all around for the Kayak heats at Lee Valley today. 🏁Starting the day with the K1W heats, Madison Corcoran gave a solid effort, finishing up in final results in 52nd place and unfortunately not qualifying into the semi-finals.The K1M heats also presented a challenge. Noel Hendrick pulls through at the last second, qualifying in 30th place for the semi-finals. Samuel Curtis crosses the line in 52nd place, while Alistair McCreery finished in 72nd.Keep an eye out for the results of the Canoe Slalom World Championships right here! 🚣🚣🚣
    Challenging day on the water for Ireland today. 🚣‍♂️🚣‍♂️🚣‍♂️The C1M Heats brought a stellar performance by Robert Hendrick, gaining him 6th place in the first run. Liam Jegou, not too far behind, crossed the line in 12th place. Both have qualified into the semis which will take place on Friday 22nd. A solid effort but a hard payoff for Jake Cochrane today, finishing in 35th place. 🏁The C1W heats also held a challenge for Michaela Corcoran, who finished the run in 44th place, unfortunately not qualifying into the next round.Keep up to date with the Canoe Slalom World Championships here!

    A challenging day on the water for the C1M and K1M A challenging day on the water for the C1M and K1M teams finals yesterday, just meeting the finish line over the halfway point of competitors. 🚣‍♂️🚣‍♂️The C1M team took 11th place after a solid effort, whilst the K1M team crossed the line in 14th place. 🏁Make sure you stay up to date with the Canoe Slalom World Championships right here!
